Another addition to the new weekly series called “Coffee Break”. I am sharing quick tips on how to take a mental/emotional/physical break throughout your week/day.
With the holidays in full swing, we are finding that a lot of our time is devoted to family and friends, sometimes leaving us scrambling to find time for ourselves. In order for us to fully enjoy our time with family and friends, we need to make sure that we are taking care of ourselves and “recuperating”.
My quick tip for you today is to find time in your day to do something that you enjoy. It can be something as small as making some hot cocoa or drawing yourself a nice bath to wandering around in your favorite store. Focus on the here and now and the minutes or hours that you have for yourself. This is YOUR time. If we can devote time and energy to others, we can devote time and energy to ourselves.
So make sure you take care of yourselves this holiday season and show yourself some love and care.
