11.1.17 Coffee Break: Breathe

Welcome to a new weekly section called “Coffee Break”.

This will feature a small task that you can do throughout the week to help ease your mind when you need a mental break.

For this week’s task we will be learning how to observe our breathing.

Breathing is a great indicator of how we are doing. I want you to take 5 minutes out of your day to notice your breathing. Is it fast? Slow? Are you breathing fully? Take 5 minutes to breathe, slow down, and enjoy your surroundings. Breathing is very automatic in our lives and sometimes it is taken for granted. Take the time out of your schedule to remember that your breath is what fuels you to do what you love to do.

Inhale, exhale
